You only need to submit a low resolution JPEG version of your design or a gif thumbnail. Be sure to keep your hi-resolution version of the design somewhere in case your design is picked.

In order to be judged you must use one of the supplied templates.

Feel free to do what you will the the templates. Make them look however you'd like, just remember that we are looking for quality not quantity. Submissions that we don't think are "worthy" will be discarded.

We are looking for both fashionable art and funny/attitude ideas. If you go the funny route, please be very witty and have some skills with your design. If your idea is great but your design is so so, please ask for our help and we will create something that you can still take credit for. Design your tee in a vector art program such as Adobe Illustrator, or Macromedia Freehand... or design in a raster program such as Adobe Photoshop. If you are designing in a raster program, make sure you design actual size at least 150dpi. Please keep art under 3 colors. Again, make sure the art is color separated (if you need our help, just submit the idea and state in your email that you need help separating the art).

You will need to create a gif thumbnail of your submission or a low resolution jpeg. The thumbnail must be 450x410 pixels. When you have the files ready, and know what you want the title of your design to be, email your design to shirtcontest@gmail.com. Please only submit it once!

If your design is absolutely ugly or not even worth our time, please don’t be offended, but your art will probably get trashed. So be sure to bring your “A Game”. We will post your design under the “designs for review” section. Promote your design to friend’s family and competitors while it is scored for a period of 30 days. The more votes the better your chance of being rewarded. The person with the highest score at the end of each month will receive $1,000.

After your design is done scoring it will be given a final score. We pick new high scoring designs every week from the archives.

You win $500 in cash! We will sell your shirt on the main page so to make even more money on your art, please be sure to sign up for our affiliate program and you will get paid for every shirt you sell.

Poor Design
Even though your design may be submitted properly, we do decline some submissions for poor design. All designs are pre-screened by a panel of Judges before put into the running.

Duplicate Submissions
Please only submit your design once and do not submit additional submissions for changes in color, size or placement. Designs changed slightly based on comments will still be treated as duplicates. If the concept didn't go over well the first time around, just try something new.

File Dimensions
Thumbnails must be 100 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall. Large images must be 450 pixels wide by 410 pixels tall.

File Size
The thumbnail must be under 4kb and the large image must be under 120kb.

Design Dimensions & Placement
The design must be within a 16 x 16 inch area and may not extend over shirt seams.

Too Many Colors
Designs must have 4 or less unique colors, no gradients, no photographs and no tiny halftones. Remember, black & white count. The color of the tee shirt does not count toward the four color limit.

Template Not Used
You must use the downloaded templates or design your own when creating your design.

Inappropriate Material
The design must not be overly offensive or contain copyrighted material.
